In September, the child's guardian noticed unusual signs, including pain and inability to urinate and defecate, which prompted a medical check-up. The examination revealed that the 4-year-old girl had been defiled and abused multiple times. An investigation was launched immediately, with all evidence pointing to the school teacher as the perpetrator. Upon learning of the incident, the Minister of Women Affairs Barr Uju Kennedy Ohanenye swiftly intervened to ensure the child receives proper medical care and to seek justice.
