The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, led by Barrister Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, has taken immediate action in response to disturbing allegations of child abuse involving a 4-year-old child and her school teacher. In September, the child's guardian noticed unusual signs, including pain and inability to urinate and defecate, which prompted a medical check-up. The examination revealed that the 4-year-old girl had been defiled and abused multiple times. An investigation was launched immediately, with all evidence pointing to the school teacher as the perpetrator. Upon learning of the incident, the Minister of Women Affairs Barr Uju Kennedy Ohanenye swiftly intervened to ensure the child receives proper medical care and to seek justice.
